Important Information: How to Navigate Your Healthcare Journey
When you joined the MemorialCare/SCAN Medicare Advantage Plan, you should have selected a primary care provider (PCP) from one of our three medical groups: MemorialCare Medical Group, Greater Newport Physicians, or Edinger Medical Group*. To confirm which group you are in, please check the information on your insurance card. Follow the links below to learn more about your specific provider group and how to best access care.
*Patients seeing an Edinger Medical Group PCP will not see this medical group listed on their insurance card; instead, the card will list their medical group as Greater Newport Physicians.

For Greater Newport Physicians patients:
Urgent care
GNP offers in-person and virtual urgent care. For in-person, simply walk in or pre-schedule and ‘reserve your spot’ in advance at one of our convenient locations. For virtual, you can schedule an on-demand video visit through myChart, even if you do not have a myChart account.
Contact your primary care provider's office for help
The Greater Newport Physicians (GNP) medical group is comprised of physicians in private practice. Therefore, it is best to contact your individual physician’s office for medical questions or to schedule appointments.
Ask your physician. Some of the GNP doctors use the NEXTMD patient portal. If your provider does, you may be able to access your medical records through the NEXTMD secure online website.

Available through appointment only, we offer same-day urgent care appointments at our Fountain Valley location, Suite 301. Please call 714-965-2500 to schedule.
We also offer after-hours urgent care services during the week from 5:15 pm to 8:20 am and all day on the weekends, in addition to a 24-hour EMG physician on call.
