Ava’s grandparents were gone before she became a nurse practitioner in 2010, but they are her inspiration for the care she provides to her older patients. Ava is committed to making sure the SCAN members in her care get the quality care, service and support she would want for her beloved grandparents.

Ava goes the distance not only for her patients, in her spare time, she is a marathon runner who relishes the challenge of Spartan obstacle races. Her goal is to participate in the Ironman triathlon. Another of Ava’s listed hobbies: “being a mom.”

Ava holds a Master of Science in Nursing from California State University, Long Beach.
