“I hope to have a positive impact on SCAN members’ lives by helping them to be healthy, supporting their families and providing the care needed for them to remain in their homes for as long as possible,” Robyn says. She believes that in guiding older adults on their unique paths to health and independence she learns as well. “We can learn from our seniors if we listen,” she says. “History lives in our memory, and we need to pass it on.”

Nursing wasn’t Robyn’s first career choice. A devout movie buff, young Robyn dreamed of being an FBI agent like Clarice Starling in the movie “Silence of the Lambs.” It wasn’t until a deal with her mother offered free rent in exchange for furthering her education that Robyn discovered she had a passion for Nursing and caring for people so they could live their best lives.

In addition to caring for her patients and watching any movie, Robyn enjoys cheering for the Denver Broncos, going to K-Pop concerts with her daughter, playing poker and binge-watching sci-fi and thriller shows.

Robyn received a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Mesa State College, a Registered Nurse diploma from Covenant School of Nursing and a Master’s Degree in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner certificate from Grand Canyon University.
