Pauline Ree has devoted most of her career to working with marginalized populations. She first started out as a resident at the VA Connecticut Health Care system. She then transitioned to working with the AIDS/HIV population. Her current role as a Clinical Pharmacist in the SMCT pharmacy team allows her to apply evidence-based guidelines to treat the geriatric population. She ensures the safety of our patients by intervening during transitions of care, applying deprescribing protocols, monitoring for adherence, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to discuss medication-related concerns. She is also a preceptor for pharmacy residents and students.

She resides in Los Angeles with her husband and two children. She enjoys listening to classical music, a passion she discovered only recently. Her unparalleled fondness for matcha green tea has landed her in Kyoto, in pursuit of the highest grade of ceremonial matcha. She has taught herself brush calligraphy and enjoys practicing writing during her free time.

She has a Bachelor of Arts from University of Pennsylvania, Doctorate of Pharmacy (PharmD) from Nova Southeastern University, and is currently credentialed as an AAHIVP pharmacist. Credentials: PharmD, AAHIVP
