As a Physician Assistant, Ellie brings a holistic perspective and personal touch to caring for SCAN Embrace members. In addition to diagnosing and treating health conditions, Ellie works with her patients to create and carry out actionable plans that can help them best manage their health to avoid illness and feel their best.
Before joining SCAN, Ellie worked as a physician assistant in Internal Medicine. She found that she particularly enjoyed caring for older adults and learning from their wealth of life experiences. As a member of SCAN’s Embrace team, she looks forward to hearing SCAN members’ life stories and learning what is the most important to them so she can provide the compassionate care that will help them live well.
While on the job, Ellie is dedicated to her patients’ care; after-hours she is an ardent Los Angeles Dodgers baseball fan. When the Dodgers aren’t playing, she likes to spend time with her family, watch shows on Netflix or cook.
Ellie received a Bachelor’s Degree in International Studies from University of California, Irvine, and a Master’s Degree in Physician Assistance from St. John’s University.
