Ashley will tell you she’s a “foodie at heart” who enjoys eating and cooking good food. What Ashley says feeds her soul, though, is when she can create strong relationships with her patients and their loved ones. Memories of losing her grandfather to cancer and her strong faith motivated Ashley to become a nurse. These are also the reasons why she believes in caring for each of her patients as if they were a member of her own family.

Ashley is a trained and experienced nurse practitioner, but she learns more every day from working with her older patients to meet their unique challenges and needs. She believes the valuable lessons she learns from her patients’ unique life experiences, wisdom and preferences help her be the best nurse practitioner she can be. It’s no wonder Ashley is excited about working with SCAN members. She looks forward to getting to know each of her SCAN patients and to helping them reach their health goals and the vision of aging they see for themselves.

At home, Ashley loves seeing the world through her children’s eyes as they experience life. In addition to eating and cooking good food, her hobbies include exercising, reading, camping.

Ashley received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner from Azusa Pacific University and a Master of Science in Nursing from Sacred Heart University.
