Allison Foster is SCAN’s Director of Value Based Care. She is responsible for developing value-based arrangements with providers and vendors and ensuring the success of SCAN’s shared and non-delegated contracting arrangements by implementing clinical programs and monitoring their impact on clinical, operational, and financial performance across markets. Allison plays a key role in the network development of SCAN’s I-SNP integrated care delivery model and its participation in the Value Based Insurance Design hospice benefit component demonstration.

Prior to joining SCAN, Allison was an Implementation Project Manager at Epic Systems, where she supported providers and administrators through complex, multi-location EMR implementations and led Epic’s ASAP application end-user training efforts.

Allison began her career in healthcare as a volunteer Emergency Medical Technician at Tulane University in New Orleans, where she provided emergency care 24-36 hours per week as a full-time college student. During her time as an EMT, Allison spearheaded the organization’s work to become more data-driven and leveraged those insights to demonstrate cost-savings and expand the programming and service area of the agency.

Outside of work, Allison can often be found frequenting various LA coffee shops or exploring new parks with her rescue dog, Oscar.

Allison holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health and a Bachelor of Arts in Homeland Security Studies from Tulane University.
