Q: I enjoy using the gym membership in my SCAN plan. Is this still part of my benefits next year?
A: Great question! You will still have a fitness benefit next year, but it is changing—for the better!
You can learn what’s new in your plan by reading the Annual Notice of Changes (ANOC) you received in September. We encourage you to read your ANOC to be aware of:
- New services and benefits available
- Any changes in copayments
- Any changes in the formulary (list of covered drugs)
By the way, you don’t have to do anything for your new benefits to take effect. Your plan membership will continue automatically, and your 2024 benefits start on January 1.
