SCAN Health Plan, AmericasHealth Plan and Clinicas del Camino Real Collaborate to Support the Hispanic Population in Ventura County with High Quality Integrated Care and Services

LONG BEACH, Calif.—Sept. 29, 2020—SCAN Health Plan®, one of the nation’s largest not-for-profit Medicare Advantage health plans, today announced the addition of Clinicas del Camino Real and AmericasHealth Plan (AHP) to its provider network in Ventura County, effective Oct. 1, 2020. This alliance brings diversified, high-quality care and services to the growing number of Hispanic beneficiaries in the region.

Clinicas del Camino Real is a Federally Qualified Health Center network comprised of 15 sites throughout Ventura County, serving approximately 40,000 patients enrolled in Medi-Cal or Medicare plans. Their network is comprised of specialists providing the following on-site services:

For patients who are unable to visit their facilities in person, the organization dispatches fully equipped, mobile medical and dental units to meet patients where they are.
