A FRIENDLY CALLER PROGRAM WITH A DIFFERENCE

If you’ve ever wished you had someone to talk with on a regular basis, we might have just the answer you’re looking for.

SCAN Heartline is a friendly caller program with a difference—the SCAN difference! Through the SCAN Heartline program, you’ll have regular phone calls with a SCAN team member.

The only thing planned about these calls is the day and time—you and your caller take it from there. Whether you have casual chats or deep conversations, exchange recipes, share book recommendations or reminisce is completely up to you.  And, you decide whether to connect weekly or every two weeks.   

This program is perfect for you if:

  • You’d enjoy having someone to talk to regularly.
  • You’re going through a life change, such as retirement, adjusting to new life situations, or dealing with a loss.
  • You don’t have many opportunities to connect with others or just want to be a little more social.

Program requirements:

The only requirement is SCAN membership. If you’re a SCAN member—or you know a SCAN member who you think would enjoy being part of our friendly caller program—let us know.

Next steps:

Once we receive your form, a SCAN representative will follow up to explain the program and help set everything up. Please know that you can pause or stop calls at any time, so there’s no harm in giving it a try.
