SCAN Senior Advocates
Sometimes the best support comes from someone who’s been there. SCAN Senior Advocates are older adults who understand the challenges of aging because they’ve lived them too. They’re here to walk alongside SCAN members, offering encouragement, guidance, and a listening ear.
Whether it’s navigating health care, managing life changes, or just needing someone who gets it, our Senior Advocates bring heart, experience, and real-world wisdom to every conversation. Because at SCAN, we believe in the power of connection—and that no one should age alone.

We’re currently looking for a few SCAN members to participate in special projects that support and motivate other SCAN members—and have some fun while doing it. (And yes, you get paid, too!) As a SCAN Peer Advocate, you’ll work from home, but still be connected through a wonderful network of colleagues in Arizona, California, Nevada, New Mexico and Texas.
