Outpatient Mental Health Professionals
SCAN covers outpatient mental health services. A referral is required to an in-network mental health professional. To locate a mental health professional, speak with your primary care physician or contact your medical group. The phone number for your primary care physician/medical group can be found on your SCAN member ID card.
To learn more about your outpatient mental health services benefit, please call SCAN Member Services at 1-800-559-3500 (TTY User: 711). SCAN Member Services hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week, from Oct. 1 to Feb. 14. From Feb. 15 to Sept. 30, Member Services hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday.
