Notification to SCAN Members Affected by Recent Storms in California
Impacted regions: Counties of Los Angeles, Ventura, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego and Santa Clara
Earlier this year, a state of emergency and mandatory evacuation orders were declared for areas in California impacted by the recent winter storms.
In response, SCAN put into place temporary changes to help our members access needed care and services.
If you have been affected by one of the recent winter storms in California and continue to have trouble getting timely access to care or services, please call us so we can help you:

As a reminder:
- If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest hospital emergency room.
- For non-life threatening care, please contact your primary care doctor (listed on your SCAN ID card), or call SCAN Member Services at 1-800-559-3500 (TTY: 711) and we will help you get the care you need. Member Services is currently available 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday.
