The early death of Taiwo’s mother taught her the value of people taking control, and advocating for their own health. As a nurse practitioner, she educates and advocates for her patients and their loved ones to take active roles in the care and decisions that impact an older adult’s health and well-being.

Taiwo provides each of her patients with personalized, holistic care. She enjoys getting to know the older adults in her care well—not only as patients, but as people with individual needs, wishes and histories. She particularly enjoys time spent with her patients as they share stories of their careers and life events.

Growing up in Nigeria, Taiwo earned a degree in accounting. But when she moved to the United States 20 years ago, she began pursuing an education and career in nursing. She is inspired in her work to be a role model for her four daughters to know that, with hard work and dedication, they can achieve whatever they set their minds to.

In her personal time, Taiwo enjoys indoor cycling and yoga.

Taiwo has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mount St. Mary’s University in Los Angeles, and Master of Science in Nursing from Azusa Pacific University.
Credentials: MSN, Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C)
