Mail-order Pharmacy with Express Scripts
Ordering your medicine by mail makes more sense than ever. The discount for filling a 90-day supply of medicine is only available through mail-order. You get a three month supply for only two copayments. It’s also much nicer to re-order - once every three months. And home delivery through the mail is handy too.
There are four easy steps to get started with mail-order.
- Just call Member Services. Ask them to mail you the mail-order pharmacy form. Call us at 1-800-559-3500 7:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m. 7 Days a Week. TTY Users: 1-800-735-2929.
- When you get the form, follow the instructions on the form.

Include the original prescription signed by your doctor. It needs to have:
- your name
- the doctor’s name
- the doctor’s information
- the name of the medicine
- medicine dosage
- day supply
- number of refills
- Put the form and prescription in the mail. You do not need to fill out a separate order form for each medicine.
Other Important Info
The mail-order pharmacy will send all the medications listed on the prescription signed by your doctor. (Sometimes doctors will write them all on the same sheet). If you do not want all them filled, ask your doctor for two separate prescription forms. One form should have the medicines you want filled by mail-order. The other one should have the medicines you plan to get at a local retail pharmacy.
Only medicine you take on an on-going basis can be ordered by mail.
Please allow 10 to 14 days from the time the pharmacy gets your form until you receive your medication. Be sure you have enough medicine on hand to hold you through that period.
