The goal of the SCAN Van is to support, encourage, and promote the benefits of a healthy lifestyle in maintaining health and independence.

COMMUNITY EVENTS CALENDAR

The SCAN Van is a 36-foot mobile, multi-purpose senior resource center, featuring state-of-the-art technology, educational resources, and on-board activities such as brain games and Wii bowling.

The SCAN Van offers visitors the opportunity to:

Speak with experts about services and resources in their community
Receive no cost health screenings and health education
Access 20 different computer-based brain games
Join in stay-healthy activities, such as Wii bowling
And much more

By going mobile, the SCAN Van delivers support and services directly where older adults live and in familiar settings – community centers, senior centers and senior housing residences, to name a few.
