Things You Can Do to Protect Your Good Health

Call a friend.

Do something just for fun.

Drink 4 - 6 glasses of water every day.

Drink little or no alcohol.

Eat a variety of vegetables and fruits each day.

Find things to celebrate.

Get at least 30 minutes of exercise, even just walking.

Limit the amount of salt you eat.

Provide care to another person, a pet or a garden.

Sleep at least 8 hours each night.

Spend time with people who make you laugh.

Stretch your back, arms and legs as far as you can.

Take prescriptions correctly.

Avoid tobacco products.

Watch no more than 2 hours of television per day.

Wear seatbelts every time you ride in a car.

Wear sunscreen and a hat out in the sun.

Write a personal letter or card.
