members. Because of the cultural and linguistic diversity of its members, SCAN Health Plan Arizona strives to provide high quality health care services that are
designed to be culturally and linguistically appropriate. In order to assist our
contract network in providing health services in a culturally competent manner,
SCAN Health Plan Arizona offers interpretative services at no charge to the provider
or member.
SCAN Health Plan Arizona has contracted with Language Line for telephonic
interpretative services. The company has translators for more than one hundred and seventy (170)
languages. To access these interpretative services, contact Member Services at
1-(888)-540-7226.
Please note that SCAN is currently negotiating a contract with a company for on-site
interpretative services, including sign language. We will notify our
contract network when the business agreement is finalized.
