(LONG BEACH, CA – February 4, 2009) — SCAN Health Plan announced today that St. Joseph Health System has joined the health plan’s provider network, effective immediately. As a result, SCAN members in Orange County will now have access to the health system’s two local hospitals – St. Joseph Hospital in Orange and St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton – as well as its four affiliated medical groups, adding nearly 1,000 primary care physicians and specialists to the SCAN network.
