
Seniors Invited to Get the 'Straight Talk' on Medicare Changes
Medicare Part D to be Discussed at Free Community Forums
(January 12, 2006) — Healthcare options for seniors including
Medicare’s new prescription drug program will be among the
topics discussed at special community forums open to all
Medicare-eligible individuals in Ventura County. The events,
hosted by SCAN Health Plan, will be held as follows:

- Tuesday, January 17, at 9 a.m. at the Marriott Hotel at 2055 Harbor Blvd. in Ventura.
- Tuesday, January 17, at 1:30 p.m. at the Courtyard by Marriot at 600 East Esplanade Drive in Oxnard.
- Wednesday, January 18, at 10 a.m. at Logsdon’s Restaurant at 824 E. Santa Maria St. in Santa Paula.
- Wednesday, January 18, at 1:30 p.m. at Hampton Inn & Suites at 50 West Daily Drive in Camarillo.
- Tuesday, January 31 at 9 a.m. at Sunset Hills Country Club at 4155 Erbes Road in Thousand Oaks.

The recent Medicare changes mean not only more information to
consider, but also more choices to make. These educational
seminars are designed to help seniors understand their options
and make informed decisions about their healthcare. There is no
