(VENTURA, CA – July 14, 2005) — SCAN Health Plan has been named
the official sponsor of “Senior Day” at the Ventura County Fair
at Seaside Park, which will be held this year on Tuesday, August
9. SCAN is one of California’s largest Medicare Advantage Plans
and currently serves over 70,000 seniors in Ventura, Los Angeles,
Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino counties.

The Ventura County Fair at Seaside Park in Ventura is
California’s “coolest fair” as it’s located right on the beach

California’s most successful fairs with annual attendance topping
300,000. This year’s fair will run August 3 through 14 and will
feature carnival rides, agricultural and competitive exhibits and
world-class entertainment.
The highlight of SCAN Health Plan Senior Day will be a
performance at 1:00p.m. by country music legend Mel Tills, along
with comedians Williams & Ree. The annual “Blessing of the
Marriages” and entertainment from numerous bands and singers will
