“Best Place to Work” for Second Consecutive Year

SCAN Health Plan Arizona Ranked 12th Overall

(PHOENIX, AZ – December 14, 2010) — The Phoenix Business Journal, founder of the “Best Places to Work” program, named SCAN Health Plan Arizona 12th on the 2010 list of top employers. This marks the second year SCAN has been chosen a “Best Place to Work” in the valley and adds to the growing list of awards the Medicare Advantage plan has recently received. Earlier this year SCAN was recognized as one of Arizona’s Most Admired Companies by Arizona Business Magazine and was selected by Modern Healthcare magazine as one of the nation’s top 30 “Best Places to Work in Healthcare.”

The Phoenix Business Journal’s “Best Places to Work” list, started in 2003, recognizes valley-based companies who, through a third party-administered employee satisfaction survey, rate their respective organizations in various aspects of employee life, including workplace environment, leadership direction, culture and management practices.
